Which branch is best for a medical career?

I am planning on enlisting soon and pursuing medicine, preferably trauma medicine. However because I am female I know I cannot go into direct combat and I have a very specific idea in mind of what I want to do for my career. My questions is, which branch is best for someone pursing trauma med, planning for an LVN or Paramedic Cert (if) they get out after EOS...also which would be best if I want to be close to direct combat if not in it?
