Why did Liz Taylor and Rory Emerald attend Michael's burial in Westwood, but not his public memorial?

I do not know who Rory is...but Liz probably did not attend because she is on her own death bed and doesn't want the public to see her that way. After all..she must be 80 or 90 with a few drug problems on top of the age factor. Which really ages you.
