Ok, this is a little bit from the first chapter in my book. Would you guys keep reading?

I make it a rule not to read others "writing" and I'm not sure why I decided to take a chance on you, boredom perhaps. I can always tell when a beginning write has read J.D. Salinger but honestly you are not too bad. I have no idea where you are going with this, maybe nowhere, but you do have a good feel for sentence structure which is a rare commodity these days. Your spelling sucks however and I'd have red-inked the margins for you if I was Mr. Pearson. Good luck to you.
