Oxy help? im having trouble after accident?

ive been taking oxycodone er since 0ct of 06, via getting tboned on my motorcyle. well i got pretty mangled and about 7 surgery's later i got a tkr at 25 years old. i started at 40mg twice a day now im barely down to 10mg twice a day. ive tried to quit completely b4 my last surgery and couldn't so my doc kept me on them in the down time. dont get me wrong though i am still in great pain and probably always will be but i want to get of off them now that i got the tkr on march 31st. my doc and i planed to just ween but i knew it would have little success. so now i got 4 pills left and im calling my doc 2marrow to come up with a better plan. dose anybody have any credible knowledge on the situation? i need help. i know im on a very small does but the withdrawals are horrible its like restless leg x10 plus the anxiety that feels like its gonna explode like a jack in the box. there has to be a better step then from where im at to cold turkey. what are my options?
