How do i get rid of the remains of a very sticky label on a plastic box?

Wiping with white vinegar should do it but I always keep a product called Sticky Stuff Remover from Lakeland,either shop or mail order which is wonderful even for sticky residue that is ages old such as that left by masking tape etc.It is based on citric acid (lemon juice) & is completely non-toxic & works within minutes & leaves no mark at all
