A bird's nest in my kitchen window?
This nest does not look very stable and once there are eggs and or chicks in it, it may collapse under the extra weight. Also, are you going to need to close your window anytime soon? If you are going to move it, now would be the time as once eggs are laid and it is an active nest, it actually becomes illegal to interfere with the nest. Try moving it to the nearby tree and see if she still uses it. You can place the whole nest in a basket with handle and tie it up in the tree if you cannot anchor it in the tree by itself. In the daytime it may not be bad if she is scared off the nest every now and then by your presence..she will return when you are gone. However, I am concerned about the nightime..birds cannot see well in the dark and if she is scared off during the night she may not be able to find her way back to the nest until morning at which point the eggs will already be dead.
