Resin for embedding things in a kitchen work surface?

I'm looking for product names and suppliers of clear epoxy resin (which I believe is the best option) so that I can embed various (flat) objects in a kitchen worktop. The resin must be transparent, hard and heat resistant. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
