Accidently deleted PSD files from USB?

damnn i accidentlly deleted my PSD PHOTOSHOP file from my USB drive, i installed the RESTORATION programme, there are files and folders but when i restore it to my desktop and open in PHOTOSHOP it says ' could not complete your request because it is not a valid photoshop doent', buh i jus created my work using PHOTOSHOP, can any one plzzzzzzzz help i need to submit my work next week :(
